It is important to mention that this docking station is NOT compatible with AYANEO or Switch devices. For the ROG Ally X, it must be used without a protective case, while for other models, ensure that their protective cases do not exceed a thickness of 2 millimeters.

Optimized for the ROG Ally's 30W Turbo mode, this dock ensures enhanced performance. However, due to increased power demands, it is recommended to use a 100W PD charger for an optimal experience. For achieving 4K@60Hz output, it is important to use an HDMI to HDMI 2.0/2.1 cable not exceeding 15 feet in length, manually switch to desktop mode, and configure settings for 4K@60Hz output. Avoid using HDMI to DisplayPort cables or adapters. In case you need to use an HDMI Switch, ensure the HDMI cable at both ends of it does not exceed 6.6 feet.

To ensure stable operation of the output video and external devices, it is recommended to connect a Power Adapter (45W and above) while docking your Steam Deck. Keep in mind that playing demanding games with high-resolution settings may strain the Steam Deck, potentially exceeding its power handling capabilities. Consider lowering image quality settings to minimize latency with external devices during gameplay.
