Development Background of the ELECOM EX-G Series

The EX-G series, short for Exactly-Grip Ergonomic, was developed by ELECOM with the goal of creating a long-selling model that caters to the needs of all users. Understanding that users have varying preferences when it comes to mouse models with special functions and high-performance sensors, we set out to design a mouse that prioritizes comfort and usability. While ergonomic mice were already available in the market, they failed to address the specific points that were crucial for comfortable grip.

In our quest for the ultimate grip comfort, we delved into the skeletal structure and muscles of the fingers, which play a vital role in operating a mouse. After numerous trials and studies, we were able to achieve a shape that not only provides comfort but also enhances the overall user experience.

Our design process focused on the Radialis brachii and Extensor digitorum muscles to determine the optimal angle and shape of the mouse for maximum hand muscle support.
